I sure hate to lose such a fun loving customer and friend...unbelievably it happened today.
Last Sunday Marie Whitehouse 61, who works for the Davis School district went into the hospital and was discovered full of cancer. It doesn't seem possible...wasn't she just visiting the shop enjoying, laughing,talking about her new boyfriend. She was at the Halloween party having so much fun.
No mention of being sick. Just trying to lose weight.
Marie found the shop before it opened and then on visited a min. of 3 days a week over the 3 years.
She adored vintage and the 1920's era, her passion for Jayna's neclaces were her big weakness. She LOVED aqua and shabby chic, handmade creations therefore worked Saturdays at Aunt Addys in Farmington for 7 years and Sundays up until her passing at Michaels, plus her full time district job. She loved Christa of Re-Creations and was Christa's very good friend. This is a shock to all.
I don't think this a coincidence that this piece of framed artwork came in the day she went into the hospital. Last year this picture came iin, only in a card, it is painted by Carma Hendrix and it is a Mother Teresa saying. Marie immediatly grabbed that card and said "I really need this right now". And she did.
Marie, I know you are now in a wonderful place, I will try to imagine you with your husband you loved and the beginning of a new life problem free, full of beauty and peace beyond our imagination, you lived a good life.
Just know you enriched my life and made me try harder to be better at what I do. You will be missed by those that truely loved you and it will be so hard to get use to you not walking through the shop doors.
