Upon the rooftop
Out of storage comes the
Christmas lighting.
How could I have
grandchildren living here
and not have outdoor lights!
(it's a good excuse
and it worked!)
Today we enjoyed our hunt
through the Acorn antique show.
They are opened Sunday also.
This will be a Christmas feature outside and tie in with our theme.

When we bought it we were
clueless as to what to do with it.
By the time I got home
it was 100% figured out,
no, not telling
you have to come see!
Old mail boxes are heavy
it took us both to carry it out.
What would life be like if there were not collectors that rescue
great stuff?
The mailbox was destined to go into a recycling truck, when a quick thinking collector waved some cash...and now it will be enjoyed by many at the shop.
