Can hardly realize our 40th anniversary is this week

Prop #1

can you tell what it is?

It WAS the cutest wheelbarrow ever made picket fence style.

Mr. Prop-rietor wanted to make it sturdy for your renting of it,

and has now placed a ton of screws so it will hold up for some time.

Prop #2

Roses Iron chair

This chair doesn't stand alone, it has 3 sisters

and a huge round glass roses table to match.

You can rent one... or the whole family.

Prop # 3

Large wooden birdcage

Prop out your wedding displays etc. with lots of vintage white.

With a  nice display inside, people placing money envelopes into,

sure to make an exciting look.

It's not just Any birdcage...

we do VINTAGE prop rentals

it has brass door knobs for it's feet.

vintage white sewing machine drawers

open and closed

openings in the top for florals etc,

make for some pretty display pieces.

Antique etched mirror in the making

center will be a pin board.

we're back from our beyond funner than fun, road trip

okay....there were a few things that someone got before we did...

but we did get what we really needed.

 We filled the truck fuller than EVER before,

that's sayin' alot!

Mr. Roses bought himself a splurge

that's buried among this stuff.

( Vine street antiques, salt lake, hauled a few of

my most favorite pieces home in their trailer.

Although the new "finds" will not be in the shop

this week..the shop always has great vintage.

STUFF...cannot celebrate a birthday

I'm a firm believer as a shopkeeper

that "stuff" cannot

celebrate a birthday!

Do you know what that means?

It means if something has been in the shop

6 months to a year...it has to GO!

(and truthfully 3-4 months is just plenty enough).

good grief, who wants things to be the same ole?

So thanks for helping us

say bye bye to our merchandise

before it's had a birthday.

Cause I just hate breaking my rules.

Joni will be re-inventing the shop this week-end

with all her magic.

junque sale. New stuff TODAY thursday

The back yard and driveway of the shop is now filled with good junque. Thanks to myself and Mr. Roses, whom now can't walk *okay he needs back surgery, but not before I get my junque sold!  And it was HOT...glad it's cooling down, perfect yard sale weather.

It all depends if you love unfinished projects of someone elses to re-create...and if you love to dig through boxes and tables to find something wonderful. Lots of stuff cheap-o!
